Firstly, the guide Amelie was very good and being local she knew some very good winemakers. But for the significant cost we paid for the day and not being all that young, the Land Rover is slow, rough and very noisy. Bumping around in the back like a back packer in India isn’t appealing for people in mid 60’s. I did feel that only two winery visits was a bit light on, and we could have skipped the Church and garden visit and done more of what we were there for! For what we paid I felt lunch could have been included. But as I said the two small winemakers were excellent as was our guide for the day .

Well organised, professional, friendly, interesting. Communication was impeccable. Aldric is a great guide. The BBQ in the middle of the vineyards was a highlight. The old Land Rover was cool. Last but not least, they DO make good wine in Beaujolais :-). 10/10 would recommend.

Our guide, Amélie, was wonderful. We had a lovely time seeing the sites and enjoying a day trip through Beaujolais trying many different wines. She was thoughtful and accommodating and the scenery was beautiful, even on a cold day. Lunch was amazing. The ride can be a little rough at times—expected in a vintage car—but was not uncomfortable and there were enough stops to keep everyone moving and enjoying the day. Would definitely go again!
