Join your driver-guide on a cultural and gourmet adventure, including an introduction to wine and a tasting session with a local winemaker. Travel through scenic landscapes where villages glow in warm golden stones.
Relish a wine-tasting session amid the vineyards, savoring two distinct wines paired with a local pastry, while learning about the “terroir” that makes each wine unique. Continue to Oingt, a 12th-century village listed as one of France’s Most Beautiful Villages, and stroll its medieval streets.

May 5, 2025 at 5:16 pmWe highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Rachel, was excellent. She was clearly passionate about Lyon and wine. Rachel shared great and insightful information regarding the history, customs, science and almost all aspects you could imagine with respect to wine. You have the opportunity to taste great wine whilst overlooking the picturesque countryside as well as visiting a beautiful historical village and a wine making family in the region to learn and taste Beaujolais wine. A truly authentic and unique experience.

March 12, 2025 at 8:56 amhis was a wonderful experience made incredibly easy. I went by myself during a very brief stop in Lyon, and was worried I wouldn’t be able to sort out a wine country trip. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable, the group was a great size for meeting each other (a process the guides did well to ease forward!), and each stop was unique and fun in its own way. I especially enjoyed getting to walk through a vineyard at the end of the tour and discuss with the winemaker about his career and craft. Definitely recommend for a jaunt into Beaujolais!

February 18, 2025 at 12:18 pmWe travelled to Beaujolais as 2 groups of 8 people in comfortable minivans. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable, the driving was good. This tour is to the more simple area of Beaujolais in terms of wine, it does not visit the more premium villages, I think they have another tour for those. We enjoyed the visit to a beautiful village of Oingt and there were many stanning views on our way. The wines were simple but some were very nice, and very affordable to buy. Overall we had a great half a day

November 25, 2024 at 12:18 pmVery good and had a great time. Not too long but tasted many great wines. In my opinion it was more of a tour with wine instead of a wine tour, which is still great, just a little different. The first stop is more of scenic view with wine, the second is to a small town within the region and the third is at a winery where you can drink wine and discuss the vineyards with the owner, very cool. Delicious wine and would recommend! The tour lasted from 9am-1pm so there is still a considerable portion of the day left to do other things, and I was not overly tired from the tour. I can imagine a 9-6 tour would be exhausting for some.

September 21, 2024 at 3:45 amOur Beaujalais wine tour was fantastic..The comfortable ride thru the Golden Stones countryside to the town of Oingt and Dominic’s family winery was very scenic.Rachel our guide was delightful..Her knowledge and informtion certianly completed the tour. The wines we tasted were excellent and insight into the process and issues into running a family winery only added to this great tour..highly reommended..

May 8, 2024 at 3:20 pmThe tour was very good and our tour guide was amazing, however, I think it is advertised more as an extensive wine tasting, which it is not. At the beginning, you only taste two wines at one stop and at the end, at the vineyard, it is more complex. The tour guide and the owner of the vineyard, Guillaume, are very friendly.

July 7, 2023 at 11:21 pmlocations chosen in the tour were lovely and scenic. Winery was not touristy at all and felt very homely. Wine was priced very reasonably at the winery and was delicious! Price was a bit high for a half day tour though.

July 1, 2023 at 7:22 pmIt was a very nice experience. A glass of wine in a very beatiful place with the view, a visit in a small medieval village and visiting a super authentic wine maker in his winery. I only believe that it should be advertised as a half day trip, not one day trip and priced accordingly to a half day trip. Last year for the same price I had a full day (9h) experience in wineries in Nice and way more attractions
