The Tour
Immerse yourself in the heart of Tuscany with an unforgettable countryside tour with wine tasting and pasta class. This isn’t just another excursion; it’s a sensory journey that combines the region’s two greatest passions: wine tasting and the art of the pasta class. Get ready to savor, learn, and live like a true Italian.
A Taste of Tuscany: From Vine to Glass
Your adventure begins as you’re whisked away from Florence, the Renaissance city fading in the rearview mirror to reveal the undulating hills and sun-drenched vineyards of the Tuscan countryside. This is the landscape you’ve seen in postcards, a patchwork of olive groves, cypress trees, and historic farmhouses. Our first stop is a prestigious local winery, where centuries of winemaking tradition are preserved and celebrated.
Here, you’ll be guided through the hallowed halls of a cellar, its cool, earthy air filled with the promise of aged vintages. An expert sommelier will lead you through a wine tasting session, introducing you to the nuanced world of Chianti Classico, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, and other regional gems. You’ll learn the art of discerning aromas, from notes of cherry and leather to subtle hints of spice. You’ll discover the unique characteristics that define each varietal, and how the terroir—the soil, climate, and topography—influences the final product. This isn’t just about drinking wine; it’s about understanding the dedication and artistry that goes into every bottle. You’ll gain a new appreciation for the local viticulture, a tradition passed down through generations.

The Art of Italian Cuisine: From Flour to Fettuccine
After tantalizing your palate with exquisite wines, it’s time to get your hands dirty—in the most delicious way possible. Your next destination is a charming Tuscan farmhouse, where a professional chef awaits to initiate you into the secrets of the pasta class. This is the heart of the tour, a hands-on experience that will leave you with more than just a full stomach; you’ll gain a skill you can take home and share with friends and family.
Under the guidance of your patient and knowledgeable instructor, you’ll learn to mix, knead, and shape fresh pasta from scratch. Feel the soft dough come to life under your fingertips as you transform simple ingredients into culinary masterpieces. From classic fettuccine and tagliatelle to the intricate folds of ravioli, you’ll master the techniques that are the cornerstone of Italian home cooking. The air will be filled with laughter, conversation, and the delightful aroma of fresh herbs and simmering sauces.
This isn’t a demonstration; it’s an interactive workshop where you’ll be actively involved in every step. You’ll learn to prepare a traditional Tuscan sauce to pair with your handmade pasta, using fresh, local ingredients. This truly is a farm-to-table experience, where the flavors of the land are celebrated in every bite.
A Feast to Remember: Dining Under the Tuscan Sun
The grand finale of your day is a communal feast where you’ll get to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Sit down to a long table with your fellow travelers and toast to a day well spent with the very wines you tasted earlier. Savor your perfectly cooked, handmade pasta, a dish that tastes all the sweeter for the effort you put into it. The meal is a culmination of the day’s lessons: the rich, earthy flavors of the food, the robust notes of the wine, and the warmth of newfound friendships.
This tour offers a rich, authentic slice of Tuscany that goes beyond the typical tourist experience. It’s a journey that connects you with the land, the people, and the timeless traditions of Italian living. You’ll return to Florence not just with photos and souvenirs, but with a deeper understanding of Italian culture, a new culinary skill, and the memories of a day that felt like a beautiful dream. Book your spot and get ready to live la dolce vita!
