August 10, 2025 at 7:03 pmThis was a fantastic tour! Our group of 10 booked a private tour with hotel pickup. The transportation was spacious with good air conditioning. Our guide (Nuno – not sure about spelling) was fantastic! Our stops were great and lunch was good. The river cruise was also very nice. The Douro Valley is absolutely gorgeous! One of the prettiest wine regions I have visited. Caution: if you get motion sick, be prepared as the roads are very curvy.

August 8, 2025 at 10:10 pmFirst off, Igor was an amazing tour guide. Kept the energy up the entire time on the bus playing music and providing a great amount of knowledge of the regions we visited. As well as getting everyone organized and making sure we were taken care of at each of the wineries. If you plan to go in the summer time, make sure you bring lots of water and some sort of a fan because when we were there temps got up to 44. The ride back wasn’t so fun as the A/C on the bus ended up breaking but that being said Igor made the bus stop so we could get cold water and try and sort out an alternate plan for us to get back. All in all great value for what you get to see and experience.

August 8, 2025 at 7:15 pmWhat an amazing day!! I spent my birthday, with my boyfriend, with our super guide Jose and some guys from Helsinki and Miami. We had a lot of fun, we made friends and we had a really great time. The Douro valley is beautiful, very interesting and the Porto wine is very good!! Small note: maybe with the wine tasting I would include something to eat before lunch like a small aperitif, to avoid getting drunk and I’d include also oil tasting and chocolate. My personal idea though! Terrific day! Sara & Giovanni from Italy!!

August 6, 2025 at 7:34 pmExcellent trip – Nuno was a wonderful guide and the whole experience was great value for the money spent. You get to see the whole valley, a boat tour, decent lunch and taste 6 different wines (additionally you have wine included in the 2 hour lunch). Would definitely recommend the trip if you want to get to know Douro valley in an uncomplicated manner.

August 5, 2025 at 7:38 pmKudos to Igor and Lino who made the bus trip so entertaining and safe. It was blazing hot on the day we did this tour but luckily the bus has really nice AC to help you cool down. Because of the heat, the outdoors tour at the Kokpe vineyards was shortened so we don’t stay in the sun too long. River cruise was nice. Lunch was also good. Wished that we had the opportunity to try more port wine. There were basically only 5 glasses available between the 2 wineries. You will try: white port, tawny and ruby. Then a tawny and ruby again. I preferred the tawny of the first winery. The wines are retailing for €20
