The Tour
The Chablis Burgundy wine region is renowned for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines, and lies about two hours southeast of Paris. With this tour, discover the region on a day trip, visit three different wineries, and learn about Burgundy’s rich winemaking history and heritage. Sample red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines during three expert-led tastings, and stop for lunch (own expense) in the medieval town of Chablis.
After lunch, look out for the striking Auxerre Cathedral on the way to your first wine tasting of the day at Domain Jean-Marc Brocard. Taste some Burgundy wines, then continue to Les Caves Bailly Lapierre, where you can sample two different sparkling wines. Finally, visit the historic wine cellar of Domaine PL & JF Bersan, where you’ll enjoy a guided wine tasting with more than six different red and white wines.
Following a full day of wine tasting, your tour ends back at the departure point in Paris.

June 9, 2025 at 2:57 pmWe traveled in a nice van with an excellent and well informed driver and guide. It is a nice trip out of Paris. Liked the Chablis wine and the old, old, winery was interesting and cool but the wine was bad. The champagne was good but no information was given there.
