July 15, 2025 at 8:41 amWe had such a great time on the wine tour with Nick. He brought us to some small and large vineyards with amazing wine and great people. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the industry and we learned a lot from him. He also has a great personality which made the experience even better. This experience was very authentic and we would highly recommend it to anyone!

June 21, 2025 at 3:39 pmWe need to thank Nick for organizing the day. We stayed in Beaune and he explained in details how to best organize the tour. We took a train early AM and he met us at the train station. He’s been in the business for some time and it shows. Nick organised the route in a such a way that we saw and tasted wines from different areas in Chablis and around. Along with a range of different chardonnays (oaked, unoaked, bio, no-sulfates….) we also encountered, to our surprise Sauvignon blanc and non-pinot noir reds. At the end of the tour we had a very good understanding of what is produced in Chablis area. Unfortunately in Canada we can by only one type “generic” chablis wine that is selected by someone as most representative. We tasted chardonnays in Burgundy (Beaune and Nuits) and Pouilly Fuisse but liked Chablis more. We found that white wines are best left unoaked or very lightly oaked. Ended up bringing few bottles home. Thank you, Nick!
