The first stop on this historic pilgrimage is Chateau Montelena. Established in 1886, this iconic estate is as famous for its stunning stone chateau and Chinese garden as it is for the Chardonnay that stunned French judges decades ago. You will walk the grounds immortalized in the film Bottle Shock, feeling the weight of history in every corner of the cellar. This is an unparalleled opportunity to see where the revolution began while surrounded by the timeless beauty of the northern Napa Valley.

As the journey continues, you will head to Grgich Hills Estate. This winery stands as a monument to Miljenko Mike Grgich, the mastermind behind the 1976 winning Chardonnay. Exploring this estate offers a profound look at the dedication and craftsmanship required to challenge centuries of European tradition. The tour provides a unique perspective on how passion and soil come together to create world-class bottles that continue to win accolades on the international stage.

Oakland International Airport has become one of our favorite airports in the Bay Area. Compared to larger airports, it is generally less busy, easier to navigate, and much less stressful. Security lines are usually manageable, and getting from curb to gate is often quick and efficient. We also appreciate how convenient the airport is for East Bay residents. Parking, rental cars, and ground transportation are easy to access, making the entire travel experience smooth from start to finish. If you're looking for a more relaxed airport experience, Oakland is a great alternative to some of the larger airports in the region. ✈️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used to fly into the Bay Area at Oakland International Airport a decade ago. Now, I am back because SWA fares were lower than SJ and SF. I prefer Oakland International Airport anyway. I think Oakland is a beautiful city.

Honestly super smooth and easy to navigate, quick and painless. TSA were all friendly for the most part and took no time at all to get through, tho I'm sure busier times could get hectic but overall pleased and would definitely fly out of there again!

Just experienced the most violating pat down. Their system specifically marked my crotch region in red on the screen as a problem area that needed to be investigated. I am a rape and sexual assault survivor, this experience has left me completely triggered and unsure if I could ever come back to this airport again. I have never had an issue at any other airport. They found that I was clean, so this horrifying experience was completely unnecessary. They refused to use the scanner again and insisted they must investigate specifically my crotch region as well as touched my buttocks. It was terrifying as a survivor with PTSD to be told either in private or public this violation of my body is required to be able to go home. My vacation is now tainted with violation as I try desperately to get home without a breakdown or flashbacks. A new system is required if a simple vagina is causing it problems and getting innocent people traumatized. Zero stars. Completely Violated.

Airport could use a remodel but it’s easy enough to fly in and out of, although rental car situation is atrocious. The bus to and from the lot always seems too full and running 30 minutes behind. Give yourself enough time if you are renting a vehicle.
