March 15, 2026 at 1:05 pmNicolas was my tour guide for this small group engaging tour of Colmar. We walked throughout the city for about 90 mins while he regaled us with stories of Colmar’s past and present, and popular residents. I even found out the sculptor of the Statue of Liberty was born in Colmar! Extremely proud of his city, he was very knowledgeable, engaging, and fun. We got to all the popular places: Old Town, House of Heads, Maison Pfister, the Tanners area, La Petite Venise, and many more. The tour ended with a 30-minute wine tasting experience at the organic winery Domaine Robert Karcher et Fils with buildings from 1602, fabulous history. After a quick tour, we were offered a tasting of 3 wines from any of their wines on their menu (~25 to choose from!). Fabulous host and location, and delicious wine (I bought 6 bottles!). HIGHLY suggest Nicolas as your tour guide and this awesome venue to learn so much about Colmar in such a short amount of time. Five stars!

I enjoyed the wine tasting very much, I enjoyed some excellent Alsacian wines and enjoyed chatting with the owner of the winery. I would thoroughly recommend taking this tour.

July 9, 2025 at 5:32 amDespite the rainy weather and the cancellation of the tour by other participants, Nicolas did not cancel the tour, and I sincerely thank him for that. He conveyed the history and culture of Colmar in the most objective way and also gave me helpful tips for other locations I plan to visit. Thanks so much.

July 6, 2025 at 3:03 pmWe had a really good trip. It was great that there were only six of us, as it made it easier to hear and ask questions. We felt we learned a lot about Colmar in a short time. The wine tasting was also really good. It was nice to be able to choose which wines you wanted to taste. All in all, a really nice trip.
