The Rhône Valley, is one of France’s most important and historic wine regions. It’s the second-largest AOC wine region in France by volume after Bordeaux, and it’s renowned for its powerful, aromatic red wines, as well as distinctive whites and rosés.
The Rhône Valley is essentially divided into two distinct parts, the Northern Rhône and the Southern Rhône, each with its own unique climate, topography, dominant grape varieties, and wine styles.
