Myrsini Winery, also known as Domaine Myrsini, is a relatively new and exciting winery located on the island of Paros in the Cyclades, Greece. It was established in 2020 by Nicolas and Marie Bourget, a French couple who moved to Paros with their family.
he winery focuses on producing natural wines with minimal intervention, aiming to express the unique terroir of Paros. They use indigenous yeasts, age their wines on lees, and generally bottle them unfined and unfiltered, with very low levels of added sulfur.T We want to highlight the Greek terroir specifically the parian terroir which gives minerality and freshness to the wines.
They planted their first vines (1.4 hectares) in 2020 and practice organic farming. They also work with small local farmers who cultivate old vines in the mountains without pesticides, often using traditional “aplotaria” (crawling vines) that grow close to the ground to protect against strong winds. The diverse soil of Paros, including granite, gneiss, limestone, and marble, contributes to the wines’ character.
Grape Varieties: Myrsini Winery works exclusively with indigenous Cycladic grape varieties from Paros, including: White: Monemvasia, Assyrtiko, Roditis, Savatiano Red: Mandilaria, Vaftra
Wines: The winery produce a range of wines, including:
- “Nees Rizes” (New Roots): A red wine, often a blend of Mandilaria and Vaftra from old vineyards, characterized by tangy red fruits and savory notes.
- “Fotinos” (Bright): A natural, fuller-bodied white wine, often a blend of Cycladic native white varieties, known for its elegance and minerality.
- “Ammos” (Sand): A white wine, often 100% Assyrtiko, grown on sandy, granitic soils, offering a rounder texture balanced by minerality.
- “Kyklops Vilana Pet Nat”: A natural sparkling wine.
Come to explore another side of Paros. You will taste 4 differents wine (included a natural sparkling wine – “pet’ nat’) with a small snack (from our garden and/or from Cyclades). We love to share time with our guest and explain the specification of the wine, the process.

a year agoThis was a highlight of our trip for sure. We had a group of four and did the wine tasting of 5 wines at Myrsini and had so much fun. The setting was so serene, the wines were our favorite that we had in Greece, and Nicolas was such a pleasure — not only did he teach us about his wine, but he inquired about our lives and spent time getting to know us the French way. Such a kind family and beautiful vineyard! Merci beaucoup!!

11 months agoA beautiful vineyard, producing delicious, terroir-driven wines by a talented team of winemakers on the rise! Nicolas and his wife are cultivating fresh indigenous Greek wines expressive of grape varietals, soils and climate. We loved the fresh, balanced Pétillant Naturel (Pet Nat), the elegant whites and bright fruit reds. A phenomenal tasting experience!

2 months agoThis is one of the most treasured memories we have from our time on Paros, so do not miss the opportunity to visit this family run winery. It was an absolute treasure to meet Marie (and Oona!) and spend time talking life and wine with her. The story of how Marie and her husband came to own the vineyard and take a chance in this amazing space is one you will love to hear. If we could have spent three more hours there, we still would not have run out of things to discuss. And if I could have brought home more than two bottles in my suitcase, I would have! Please, make this visit and support their growth. And then have dinner after at Medditeraneo after!!! Order even more of Myrsini's wines and meet the chef and try one of everything on their menu.

6 months agoWe recently visited Myrsini Winery on the island of Paros while celebrating our wedding, and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our trip. The winery is owned by Marie and Nicolas, a lovely French couple whose warmth and passion for winemaking shine through in every detail. Their wines are exceptional — beautifully crafted, full of character, and a true reflection of Paros’ unique terroir. The tasting experience was intimate and genuine, with a perfect mix of knowledge, hospitality, and authenticity. I don’t often write reviews, but this was an experience I simply couldn’t miss sharing. If you find yourself on Paros, don’t leave without visiting Myrsini Winery — it’s a place that perfectly blends great wine, wonderful people, and unforgettable memories.

10 months agoWe came here for a spontaneous wine tasting and had a great time! The owners were super friendly and run this winery all by themselves, which is really impressive. We’d definitely recommend coming here and enjoying some wine and the view!
