Domaine Casta is a relatively new and exciting wine producer in Corsica, specifically located in the Patrimonio AOC (Appellation d’Origine Protégée) region. Domaine Casta is situated in the Agriates desert area of Corsica, near Saint-Florent, within the prestigious Patrimonio appellation in the north of the island. This region is known for its unique limestone and clay soils. The domaine was founded in 2019 by Rémi Castaand his partner Marie Maestrali. Rémi’s motivation was to revive his family’s land in the Agriates desert, which had been affected by a fire in the 1990s. They are committed to organic (Bio) and natural wine production, with a focus on respecting the terroir. The winery primarily works with indigenous Corsican grape varieties, which is characteristic of the Patrimonio AOC: Niellucciu (Nielluccio), Sciaccarellu (Sciaccarello), Vermentinu (Vermentino)

This tasting will be an opportunity to learn more about how to produce wine in organic farming as well as the history of the Estate.

The estate welcomes you every day by appointment. Tastings last about 30 minutes. You will have access to a large parking lot and restrooms on site.
