Cantina Re Manfredi wasEstablished in 19898. It is a relatively modern winery that quickly gained recognition for its quality. Adjacent to the masseria is a modern and dynamic winery, equipped with advanced vinification plants, including presses, stainless steel and wooden vats, and small containers for separate vinification of grapes from different vineyards.
They have a prestigious barrique cellar buried 7 meters deep, housing around 200 French oak barrels for refining Aglianico, and experimenting with alternative containers like amphorae and concrete “Oeufs de Beaune.”
The tour begins with a tasting of three distinguished wines, ideal for those new to Venosa’s flavors. Enjoy the refreshing Re Manfredi Bianco Basilicata IGT, followed by the delightful Re Manfredi Rosa Basilicata IGT, known for its fruity and floral bouquet. The experience culminates with the robust Taglio del Tralcio Aglianico del Vulture DOC, representing the region’s storied winemaking tradition.
